Health Promotion:
Services and programs designed to promote health and wellness through activities, information, classes, screenings and clinics.
HIICAP:
Health Insurance Information, Counseling and Assistance with Medicare forms, medical bills, Part D enrollment, and numerous other health insurance concerns.
Ombudsman Program:
Volunteer advocates who work to protect the dignity, independence, and quality of life for seniors residing in long-term care facilities.
Transportation:
The Office for the Aging supplements the cost of public transportation through the sale of tokens to those aged 60 and over. Limited Medical Transportation is also available through a volunteer program, to seniors not able to receive this service in any other way.
Recreation/Education:
Activities and programs designed to promote socialization, and physical, mental and emotional health.
Volunteer Opportunities:
Opportunities to work with and for the Office for the Aging in ways that make our lives richer by enriching the lives of others.
