Social Services – Accounting Division

The department’s Accounting Division is responsible for making all payments generated by the agency in accordance with auditing procedures, as well as filing state and federal reimbursement claims with the State for expenditures occurring in the various program areas.

Utilizing a statewide social services data system that receives, maintains, and processes case information they are also able to print reports, authorizations, vouchers and other necessary supportive documentation.

Additional responsibilities of this division are:

  • Answering the agency’s main telephone switchboard.
  • Agency payroll
  • Agency purchasing
  • Daily incoming and outgoing mail
  • Fiscal report preparation
  • Monitoring the collection of funds owed to the agency by clients.
