“The Summer Girl” with local author Kathy Brown: Tuesday, April 30, 3:30pm. Children who attend can receive a Children’s Book Week poster!

Contra Dance with Paul Rosenberg & Tamarack: Thursday, May 2, 7-8:30pm. This project is made possible with funds from the Decentralization Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and the New York State Legislature and administered by the Greene County Council on the Arts.

Storytime: Fridays at 10am. May 3: Mother Goose. May 10: Mother’s Day. All ages are welcome to join us for stories, music, crafts, and games. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Writing Club: Mondays May 6 & 20, 6-8:30pm. Writers of all ages are welcome! Bring your fiction, non-fiction, poetry, etc. to share, discuss & critique.

Career Coaching One on One: Thursday, May 9, 6 – 8pm. Polish your resume, get help with your job search, and more! Call the Schoharie Library at 518-295-7127 by May 2 for a free appointment with Marsha Lazarus, MBA and career coach. This program is supported by funds from the New York State Library’s Adult Literacy Library Services Program.

Embroidery & Embellishment: May 11, 10:30am. This class is full. Knitcetera Club: Tuesdays, May 14 & 28, 10:30am-noon. Knit, crochet, embroider, quilt; bring a project, start something new, learn with our stash!

Adventures in Relaxation and Mindfulness Monday, May 20, 7pm. In this interactive workshop, facilitator Eileen Knott will guide you in the process of getting deeply relaxed and more mindful so you have the tools to navigate life in a holistic and balanced way. Open to all adults.

Children’s Book Week is April 28 – May 5, 2019. Children and teens are invited to vote for their choice in the Children’s and Teens’ Book Awards! Books and ballots are available at the library. To vote online, click on http://https://everychildareader.net/vote/ Voting continues through June 1, 2019. Voters can receive a Children’s Book Week poster, while supplies last!
