Office for the Aging In-Home Services

Expanded In-Home Services for the Elderly Program (EISEP):

A program designed to assist older individuals to remain safely in their own homes by providing services that clients are not eligible to receive through other existing programs. Services include, but are not limited to: bathing, hair care, skin care, laundry, cleaning, shopping, errands, etc. EISEP is a cost-share program and the fee for service is based on an individual’s monthly income and housing expenses.

Caregiver Services:

Caregiver services are designed to provide 1. Assistance (understanding and guidance in accessing available services and programs) 2. Support ( a support group meets monthly. In addition, staff is available to offer support on a daily basis), 3.Respite (Both In-Home and referral to an adult day respite program is available to provide the caregiver with a much needed break), and Training (assistance with skills to make the tasks easier). Services are available to those persons of any age caring for anyone 60 years of age and older, or anyone 60 years of age and older who is caring for a disabled younger person.
