Sheriff’s Records Management

Schoharie County Sheriff’s Records Office maintains records and files generated by traffic tickets issued, criminal investigation cases, accidents, complaints and arrests made by the Sheriff’s Office. All are submitted to the appropriate State Department for statistical data collection. Other functions of the Record’s Office are to perform criminal history background checks, submit finger-print cards, maintain photographs and retrieve requested reports. This office interacts with the Jail on a daily basis in regard to inmate admissions and discharges.
